SALEM Ore. (KPTV) – Oregon’s first-in-the-nation drug decriminalization law has been rolled back, now that the governor has signed House Bill 4002.

The Oregon Senate and House of Representatives passed the bill in March, to reinstate criminal penalties for possessing small amounts of drugs.

The bill creates an unclassified misdemeanor for people caught with small amounts of drugs.

It comes with a punishment of up to six months in prison. Read more.
